Sing Your Heart Out celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026, and we’d love you to be part of our special year!
Our autumn term runs from 22nd September to 15th December (13 weeks). We’re a friendly daytime choir who meet on Monday afternoons (1.30 – 3.00pm) at St Wilfrid’s Church Hall during term time. Over the next two terms we’ll be revisiting some of our favourite songs, ready for spring and summer celebrations.
No previous experience is needed – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. All songs will be taught from scratch, making this a perfect time for new singers to join. We especially welcome bass voices, though singers of all ranges are encouraged.
Sessions cost £5 (paid termly), with bursary help available. Refreshments are included.
Belinda started the group in 2016 and within a few months was regularly welcoming over twenty participants through the door. Songs are taught by ear and the group is open to everyone regardless of ability. The group is very sociable and supportive and many friendships have been formed.

Three choirs came together on this special day to form one big, beautiful, caring and sharing community choir of 80 singers. Performing songs from, a traditional Ghanaian call and response welcome, to a singalong to a number made famous by Ken Dodd, with some beautiful, heartrending original, water themed songs in between.
Our large and appreciative audience were enthralled and entertained in equal measure and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of uplifting songs. This is fast becoming a fixture in the Selsey calendar
2023 – June
Summer Celebration

For the first time three choirs joined to form a mass choir for one performance at the Selsey Academy in front of an audience over 120 people.
With the theme of ‘Big Community’ celebrating all of our helpers and carers, Sing Your Heart Out was joined by the SingClusive Friday Club along with Open Door Choir who sang a variety of songs to suit all.
Songs such as Ma Belle Marguerite, A Little Respect, Sweet Dreams are Made of this and Lean on Me – they even did some beat-boxing and got the audience involved! The finale was a colourful spectacle as they sang Karine Polwart’s “Rise Up” followed by “You to me are Everything”. A wonderful afternoon was had by all.
